From the Shop Floor to the Boardroom
For most of my career, I wasn't sitting in boardrooms discussing strategy.
I was on manufacturing floors, in production meetings, solving customer issues, managing teams, improving operations, leading turnarounds, integrating acquisitions, and carrying responsibility for results.
My career did not begin in executive leadership.
It began on the shop floor.
Over the last seventeen years, I have had the privilege of working across manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, continuous improvement, mergers and acquisitions, and executive leadership. I have worked with organizations ranging from growing family-owned businesses to complex industrial enterprises serving aerospace, defense, telecommunications, automotive, construction, infrastructure, consumer products, and other critical industries.
Along the way, I learned something that fundamentally changed how I view business.
Why Most Businesses Struggle
Most organizations do not struggle because they lack intelligent people.
They do not struggle because they lack ambition.
They struggle because growth creates complexity.
As businesses grow, communication becomes more difficult. Priorities become misaligned. Accountability becomes inconsistent. Processes become fragmented. Leaders become overwhelmed. Teams work harder, yet often find themselves moving in different directions.

Why I Founded Vanguard
That realization ultimately led me to create Vanguard Industrial Advisors.
But Vanguard is more than an advisory firm.
It is the steward of a larger mission.
A mission I call The Forge.

By helping connect employers, manufacturers, technical programs, colleges, universities, and workforce development organizations, he supports efforts to align curriculum, training pathways, and workforce readiness with real-world industry needs.
His passion extends beyond filling jobs. It is centered on helping build stronger career pathways, creating opportunities for future generations, strengthening domestic manufacturing and industrial competitiveness, and ensuring students are equipped with the technical, leadership, and problem-solving skills necessary to thrive in the modern workforce.
